Distressing!

This was my first attempt at distressing. I had to look it up on Spiltcoaststampers to find out how to do it. This was the challenge at corrosive challenges and I have to say ,once I got into it I really enjoyed myself. The above image is the spooky "children of the corn" stamp(just kidding) by Tim Holtz

The bird is from Stampin Up's Nature Walk from the new Spring mini. I really like this set.

Magical Creatures

I really like this image and was happy to use it for the corrosive challenge this week, but after all my hard work, I turned the card over to tape and it smudged at the side. So I will keep it as a sample and try again. Hope you play along in the challenge.

Sketch Time!

This week is Sketch time. I will upload the sktch later on, I just wanted to have my card ready to go. You can see the sketch and other cards on the corrosive challenge site. I used a stamp from our sponsor Sparkle Creations. I love this stamp, I have created many cards already using her. I find her very elegant and great timing for Chinese New Year!

Red, Orange, Yellow- Fire!

This was the name of this week's corrosive challenge, as you can see I used all the colours, but fire was not in my mind when I created the card(maybe my heart was on fire!) I am in the Valentine mood, so my next couple of cards will have a love theme or maybe a Chinese New Year's theme. I love Hello Kitty, I just wish my printing skills were better. Inside the heart it says"you hold the Key to my heart".
